Get ready Los Angeles, we’ve got a few wet days ahead! I’ve always been fond of rainy days, so it’s interesting to hear people complain about a little drizzle. My motto lately has been: “don’t let the outside change the inside”. Meaning, don’t let whatever is going on in your external environment determine your thoughts and feelings. That is actually one of the few things you can be in control of!
On days like today you’ve got a choice:
Be bummed that the weather is miserable and depressing
or
Make this an opportunity for refreshing, relaxing and resetting
C’mon, give it a shot! Here are some ways to start changing your mindset about rainy days

On days like today you’ve got a choice:
Be bummed that the weather is miserable and depressing
or
Make this an opportunity for refreshing, relaxing and resetting
C’mon, give it a shot! Here are some ways to start changing your mindset about rainy days
- Open a window and enjoy the relaxing sound of pouring rain. Go ahead, close your eyes, and really take it in!
- Enjoy cold weather foods or drinks that you otherwise might not when it’s sunny out (hello hot chocolate!!!)
- Put on your rain boots and go out for a stroll, splash in some puddles while you’re at it – bring out that inner child!
- Rain is cleansing, as it works to clear the LA smog, think about some ways you can start fresh in your life.
