Couples Counseling
- Do you remember what it was like when you first met your partner?
- Do you remember what you felt, how you interacted, and the great times you spent together?
- Are you scratching your head and wondering where that person you met is, and how you can have them back?
- Are you looking to improve your relationship, and get to where you can hear each other without fighting, yelling, calling names?
Fret not, you are not alone. Sometimes, in a relationship, we become disconnected from our partner and don’t know how to get that connection back. Relationships can be hard work, and that’s ok. It’s never too late for couples to reconnect again!
Couples Counseling helps improve communication skills, create common goals for your relationship and family, and rebuild intimacy. As a Glendale Therapist, I help couples learn how to fight fair in order for disagreements and arguments to turn into opportunities for discussions about each partner’s needs and wants and ultimately for each person to get his or her needs met for a chance of happiness! Whether you are dealing with issues of infidelity, loss of communication, or need to the reignite the spark in your relationship, a therapist can help provide you the tools you need to overcome the pain and build love.
The following are just some areas in which I focus on during sessions:
- Improving communication
- Improving listening
- Fighting fair
- Managing Anger
- Rebuilding trust
- Rebuilding connection
- Addressing unmet wants and needs.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 103786), my responsibility is to work with couples by setting a mutual goal, then working together to figure out where the relationship disconnected, and finally teaching you the tools to reconnect and attain that mutual relationship goal.

Therapy is an investment in yourself. Multiple aspects of your life can improve from counseling services, such as self-esteem, level of happiness, mental and emotional health, and improved relationships. I practice short-term, solution-focused therapy, and most people see the changes they are looking for in 4-10 sessions. Longer-term therapy is also available for clients who are interested.
