Bananas are a superfood for your brain… who knew?!
You’re probably familiar with at least a few foods crowned with a “Superfood” title. I try to incorporate as many of them as possible, but with new food items added to the list each time I check, who can keep up? Also, I don’t always have salmon or chia seeds hanging around. That’s why I was super stoked to read about all the amazing benefits of bananas. Here I was eating them to control the shakes in my yoga class – it turns out I was getting so much more without even realizing it! Double win! The reason I’m sharing this information here is because bananas contain many vitamins and minerals that help with essentially every mental health concern I can think of. The solution to all your problems is probably already on your kitchen counter hanging out in its all-natural wrapper! Here are some of the benefits bananas have to offer:
